GPS-R will notify you when you reach the post office or your train station.

[How to use]
Using the app is simple. You only need to register a Location.
When you approach your registered Location, GPS-R will give you a notification.
You can use it whether on foot, in your car, or on the train.

Additionally, you can also set a variety of options.
With settings such as "Notify me when I am within 500m of my destination", "Notify me when there is a convenience store nearby" and so on you can tailor the app to suit your purpose!

user friendly & one of the best gps app. please update it. tanks

Lags a bit and more so on the interstate but still very useful... More than once now it has helped me threw thick traffic but it always shows you are further back on the road than you really are... For sure the most accurate "real time" map that ive found on here so far... For a free app this one is worth having!

Without a doubt, the BEST GPS based reminder app on the market. Go ahead and upgrade ( $0.99 cent wont break anyone ) so that you can set up more than one reminder. After installing 15 different GPS reminder apps, only to find they have to have a direct satellite signal, (your phone must be visible to the signal, like out in the open, or on your dashboard) This alarm will work even when your phone is on your belt. Also, the reminder alarm sound consists only from a tune from your music files (mp3s) but you can work around this by downloading any alarm sound you like and converting it into an mp3 format, and adding it to your music files.. Just that simple.

Some bad moments

I would have happily paid a buck or two for a fantastic GPS alarm. Or in this case, paid nothing for a deeply flawed one. I am a hardcore transit sleeper and I need something reliable. This alarm was an okay free alternative 6 months ago, but there are better things out there now. I have switched to the excellent Get Off Now! alarm. The major problems with this alarm: • searching for locations is cumbersome and the searches are unreliable, i.e. they often yield no results • saved locations regularly and inexplicably disappear, forcing you to re-add them frequently • there is only one alarm sound, and it is a very gentle metronome ticking • it needs to be manually set to run in the background unlike Get Off Now! which is always running, even when the app isnt even turned on (but it can be disabled so as not to kill your battery) But, it is free, and its hard to lay blame on something that is free. It did the trick until I got something better, so thanks for that!

It needs a update, REALLY needs a update...how bout voice turn by turn. But its free so whatever.

I love this app and used it usually but in the last versions the app not working in the background so when it was closed will never notify you, now I have update my iOS to the last version 8.1.2 but still not working.
